WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I'm based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but will travel across Canada for your special day. A few of my bucket list wedding destinations are Banff, Flower Pot Island, Tofino and Vernon, BC, Quebec City, PEI and Yellowknife.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
If we are within an hour of my home, travel is included. Beyond that, there are travel fees, and depending on the location and times needed, there may also be lodging fees as well. All of these details will be discussed in our pre-wedding meeting, and in the contract.
DO yoU HAVE FRIENDLY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VENDORS?
Absolutely! Having been in this industry for as long as I have, I have gotten to know the best of the best, and I never mind helping out with recommendations whenever it's needed. Aside from being your photographer, I also want to help create the best team to give you the best day possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU'RE SICK ON THE DAY OF OUR WEDDING?
If for whatever reason I am unable to shoot your wedding, I will find a worthy replacement to cover the day. I will still edit the images and ensure that my signature style is applied to each image.
Can you help us with our timeline?
I sure can! In our initial meeting, we'll go over a rough idea based on your vision. What you want and what you don't want, when is sunset, dinner and your preferred time of ceremony. I help guide you through what I think best fits your vision, and together we have a good start to what the day will look like and how many hours coverage are needed.
WHAT GEAR DO YOU BRING TO A WEDDING?
I'm a "Just in case" kinda girl because ya never know, right?! So with me, I will have two cameras, four lenses, 3 flashes, 1 video light, batteries galore, a charger, numerous cards, extra clothes and shoes (oh the stories I could tell of why I now bring these), and last but sometimes a bride's favourite.....my little bag of goodies to make the detail pictures extra pretty. Think ring boxes in almost every colour, jewellery dishes, vintage perfume bottles, ribbon, and other little trinkets to make it all beautiful!
