FAQ
Do you only photograph weddings in Ottawa?
I will travel anywhere in Canada to photograph your special day. Some of my bucket list places in Canada to photograph are Banff (Alberta), Bear Mountain (BC), Flower Pot Island (Ontario), Niagara on the Lake (Ontario).
What do you love most about photographing weddings?
I get to be surrounded by people who look amazing, who are full of love, and who want to have a great time.....it's fantastic! I get to meet so many people, and being a people person, myself, I'm right at home talking and making friends with new people. And lastly, I get the honour of making someone's special day a memorable and fun experience and then deliver it to them so they can remember that special day forever. I truly LOVE what I do!
I am so overwhelmed with wedding planning, can you offer any tips, suggestions, vendors to use?
Absolutely! I thoroughly love helping brides plan their special day. Any time of the day, any question you have, I never mind guiding you when you are feeling overwhelmed, or confused about one choice or the other. If I could be a wedding planner AND photographer, I would, but I have not yet figured out how to add more time in the day! lol
Do you include a second photographer?
In my 8+ hour packages, a second professional shooter is included. You may wish to upgrade any package to include a second shooter for $800
I love your work but you're out of my budget?
Please feel free to send me a message . We can work on a custom package made uniquely for you.
Can I save money by omitting the engagement session?
The short answer to this question is no. Because it is a complimentary gift for having us be with you the entire day of your wedding, unfortunately, we cannot reduce the fees by omitting it. Think of it as bonus time where we can get to know each other more, where we can learn what works and what doesn't for posing and additional pictures you have with your loved one.
Where should we do our engagement session?
There are many places I know of that would be perfect for your intimate engagement session. At our consultation, I learn about you as a couple and will suggest a place based on what kind of session would best fit your personalities and style.
How long does it take to deliver our images?
The average time to process your images and video reveal is 90 days, depending on the season.
We booked you for a 6 hour wedding but what if we change our mind on the day of and want you there longer?
Totally doable. Reserving your date, means you reserve my services for the whole day and I don't book anything after your wedding in the event you change your mind and want me to keep documenting the fun. Additional hours are $500 each hour and can be payed for at your reveal.
Do you sell wedding albums or wall art?
We certainly do. At our consultation, let me know of any products you may be included, and I'd be happy to share with you all that we offer. Albums and parent albums are our top seller.
How much is the retainer fee to book you for our wedding?
To secure your date for your wedding, a non-refundable retainer of $750 is due. Only once the retainer fee has been made and your contract signed, is your date secured for your wedding. Please note with a high volume of emails and date requests, dates can only reserved once these steps are complete.
